WAXING

If you are new to waxing and have last shaved or used depilatory creams, 10 days (minimum) growth is usually sufficient for the first treatment. Once waxing becomes your desired way of hair removal a period of 4, 5 or 6 weeks is generally recommended between treatments.

We endorse and retail Outback Organics products to work alongside effortless waxing to avoid both ingrown hairs and prolonged sensitivity.

Please tell us :

If you’re diabetic, you will need GP approval as you may bruise easily.
If you’ve recently had a course of antibiotics, as this may affect the skin’s sensitivity and be more prone to bruising or lifting.
If you have areas affected by varicose veins, we can work around these.

We ask you not take hot baths or showers 8 hours before and 24 hours after waxing to prevent softening the skin resulting in lifting.
If you are premenstrual or feeling under the weather – it may be more uncomfortable, but you could try taking an ibuprofen 1 hour prior to waxing to ease the discomfort.
